Okay okay okay, I'm finally done. Katt, Krystal, and Lucy have been successfully published.

...Kind of. I know I said I would color this, the last part of my series of Starfox character montages...but I've spent the past three or four days following every GIMP, Inkscape, and even MS Paint coloring tutorial I could find, and none of the results I got from all the methods I used were satisfactory to me.

So for that, I apologize. One of these days I will learn to color things myself...but it's not going to be with this piece. If I work on it anymore, my head may explode. Seriously.

On the plus side, I'm really starting to get the hang of making clean lineart with GIMP. This fact makes me quite happy, and in reality, this isn't that bad of a picture, no? :D

Oh, and don't mind the EVER SO SLIGHTLY askew proportions on those mysteriously floating chairs. I wanted something simple and easy to draw, but as it turns out they didn't turn out exactly as the original sketch had them.

Oh well--minor quibble.


EDIT - Oh, and this is free to color, so if anyone's so inclined, go right ahead. I might still go back and color it myself once I've had more experience, but for now--have fun!

Oh yeah, go right ahead. I guess I forgot to add that in the description, but yeah, go ahead and do what you'd like with it. :D

I still think I might get around to coloring this, but only after I've actually had some practice with coloring. This just ended up being too big of a project for my first attempt at digital coloring.

Awesome! I really love the positionings on all three characters! Also, so awesome to see your rendition of Lucy Hare, as she's not quite drawn as often as the other SF gals ;)

Again, the line work is beautiful and clean ^^

Like General Scales in the 'Villains edition, Lucy's...really only there because I wanted to include three characters per piece, and the only other real option was Amanda.

And nobody likes Amanda.

She was really difficult to work with though. Her official art is really, really lame. So it's good to hear someone else besides me think she looks cool. ^.^

Ahaha, poor unloved Amanda!

And, that's true, because the DS models were a little under-detailed compared to some previous ones. You really did her justice here, though! :aww:
